CRS, GRI, CIPS
I take my profession very seriously—and work hard to ensure that every detail is attended to. Put my years of experience to work for you!
CRS (Certified Real Estate Specialist) is the nation`s highest and most exclusive designation, granted to less than 5% of all Realtors ® nationwide. The GRI indicates I am a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (a series of real estate training).
You will not be talking with a "high pressure" salesman here: I counseled senior citizens in 1973 and have learned to approach real estate sales in a counseling style. I Listen!
I specialize in sales and listings of homes and condominiums in Seattle city-centre, Mercer Island, and the Interstate 90 corridor. See my listings on the Windermere Home Page.
You may be interested to know a little about me. I was an early California transplant, moving to Seattle in 1975 from the LA area. Born in Los Angeles, I grew up in the mid-1950`s in Claremont, California (hometown of Mark McGwire of the St. Louis Cardinals). My family moved to Newport Beach in the 1970`s and I moved to the Pacific Northwest—first to Portland in 1972, and then Seattle in 1975.
I graduated from the University of Washington in 1977, and worked from 1973 through 1982 as a housing counselor for senior citizens in non-profit agencies. I am active in the Mt. Baker Community Club (one of America`s oldest continuous neighborhood associations) and have lived in this central Seattle neighborhood since 1981.
My two girls are the pride of my life. My daughter Sarah (the star of the major motion picture "Magic in the Water", co-starring Mark Harmon), and my daughter Elise (a top notch volleyball player). We are active in the local Reform Jewish Community , and enjoy skiing, Seattle Mariners baseball, fine home cooking and traveling.
My daughter Sarah Wayne was spotted in a local children`s stage production and (after competing against 1,100 girls from across North America) was cast in the lead of Sony/TriStar`s “Magic in the Water.” Also starring Mark Harmon, this family adventure film is about a little girl and a mythical lake monster. The video is available for rent or sale, in your local area. Rated PG.
